Here's
What Our Clients Are Saying About

“I
just received an invoice from ALG today. After reviewing it, I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how
pleased we are with ALG’s SBT & network support services.
We have recently had the misfortune of working with 3 local network/computer consulting companies. ALG does not provide the cheapest service in town, but the value we receive per dollar far surpasses any other company that we have dealt with. ALG consultants are willing and able to listen and work closely with us. They don’t try to hide any secret knowledge and are always happy to offer advice and suggestions for projects that we would like to implement ourselves.
Joe & Rick were at our facility to solve an SBT problem last week. In the end, it ended up being a simple solution that we all (including myself) were kicking ourselves for not checking sooner. Joe & Rick responded quickly and were very professional and easy to get along with. Joe even ran home to pick-up a personal PC from his home to lend us for a week until our new server arrived.
ALG’s
billing practices are also very fair. It
is always obvious that ALG is not trying to “nickel & dime” every
customer for every minute, but instead builds long-term relationships.
Debi & I racked our brains for a week before we finally decided that we had
better bite the bullet & hire ALG. I’m glad we did!
In the past I had always assumed that Debi & I worked well with Larry
(our usual ALG consultant) because he was Larry. Now I realize that all of your
staff is top notch!”

“I am writing to express my appreciation to Mike Walsh and ALG for responding in such a timely manner to an SBT crisis at USIC Corporation. On Monday, March 1, 1999, we replaced old computers with new updated hardware. During this process, we of course attempted to access our accounting software, SBT. We were unable to do this and worse, had lost our sysdata and several other dbf files. I called ALG that day. Mike Walsh got back to me promptly, called SBT and had an answer by the end of the day. He then also agreed to come out the very next day to fix our problem. When he left at 4:30 p.m., we thought all was well, but on the second attempt at accessing SBT, I ran into the same exact problem. I called ALG and they paged him immediately. He turned right around and came back. Luckily we were able to recreate our files from backups and no permanent damage was done. It turned out that our network login screen was to blame.
I realize, as a company, that we have not done a lot of business with you and our new software is not an SBT product. Therefore, I was even more amazed to be treated as such an important client in our time of need. Thank you for providing such great service!”

“Kudos
go out to Rick Totedo who literally saved the day (and the entire business) at
Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Northeast Ohio on April 3, 2000.
Their debt management software that over 50 people use each day to conduct
business crashed last Monday. The company that sold CCCS the system and
the three in-house computer support people at CCCS couldn’t get it back up and
running. Rick stepped in on Thursday. He spent all day Saturday and
Sunday there, and had the company back up and running Monday morning. He
even had to customize his own desktop computer and turn it into a temporary file
server to get the job done. Jay Seaton, president of CCCS and an ALG
advisory board member, called Monday morning. He thanked ALG and
specifically Rick for not only doing what others couldn’t do, but also for
being so professional about it. This is the kind of effort that gets ALG
word of mouth referrals and client loyalty. Way to go Rick!!!”

“As
we begin the New Year, I look back at all the projects we completed in 1998. The
largest and most significant could not have been completed without the expert
assistance provided by ALG.
The
year 2000 upgrade and associated accounting conversion was completed on time.
This simply would not have happened without Joe and Rick working so closely with
with our staff to work out all the problems, large and small, associated with
such a major undertaking. My compliments to their professionalism.
I
would be proud to offer our experience with this project as a testimonial to the
quality of work performed by the ALG team to any prospective client.”

“I wanted to finally take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to you and your organization for the services that you have provided Beck Aluminum Corp. over the past several months. As you are aware, our company became a full time user of SBT Pro Series as of the first of the year. We made the switch from a DOS system that had been in place for about eight years. Not only was it incompatible from a Y2K standpoint, but we had substantially outgrown the package and found it necessary to implement new accounting software. While transitions of this nature are inherently difficult, the ongoing support from Rick Totedo and your staff provided for a smooth changeover.
The other major development we encountered this year was to move our office from the downtown headquarters to our new location in Mayfield Heights. As you can imagine, this was also a daunting task, particularly from a systems standpoint. Once again, your staff was right there with us throughout the entire process to insure a smooth transition. Rick and Jeremy, in particular, spent a good part of Friday evening and Saturday working to get everything up and running s that we could come in Monday morning and do business as usual.
I
just wanted to express my appreciation for the support your company has
provided. I am looking forward to an ongoing successful business relationship
between our respective organizations.”

“I want to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation for the assistance you and your staff provided to us in completing our month-end and fiscal year-end processing.
When we lost our analyst/programmer only two weeks before our closing date, there was great concern for our overall exposure to systems support for all of our internal management reporting. Our confidence in your analytical and programming skills turned out to be justified, as we did not miss a single filing deadline.
Your perseverance was instrumental in being able to reconstruct processing sequences as well as identifying the critical factors in our closing process. Your efforts in documenting the processes have resulted in improving our closing process for each month-end period since.
It was a unique situation that we were facing, and it took a unique blend of technical skills, analytical ability and coordination to get us through it. You were a key member of the team that worked on this problem and we feel very fortunate to have had the benefit of your expertise available to us. Thank you for such a fine and effective effort.”

“Enclosed is our check for services rendered. I am writing to convey to you my appreciation for the superb and timely services performed by Dan on May 22. I believe he “bent over backwards” in order to help us re-establish our mailing list and deal with Ben’s computer. I am very appreciative of his efforts.
Your
firm has consistently provided a high level of services to our organization. We
sincerely appreciate the efforts.”

“You are lucky to have Don Peters as an employee! He is a great asset.
We stumbled upon ALG a few years ago when our Novell network crashed. We flipped open the yellow pages and saw the Novell listed in your ad. Don Peters was the consultant sent out and we liked him immediately. Since then we call him for everything.
We do not have a MIS department here, so I, as the Office Manager, brunt most of the computer problems. Don has a way of explaining things so I can understand. He has always clearly laid out my options allowing me to make educated decisions. Our first project was upgrading to Windows from DOS. Don recommended ALG classes and several of our employees have attended. WE were pleased with the classes also.
Don
just completed our second project of launching us into cyberspace. (Looks like
we’ll be coming back for more classes!)
We love having Don in our office. Besides his great sense of humor, he is very efficient. Don runs around from computer to computer to make the most of his time here. (Which we truly appreciate!)
I
could go on and on, but the point is Don Peters deserves a major pat on the
back. Please pass this along to him and copy to his personnel file.
